ABOUT LINDA PRICE
Experienced Leadership. Proven Service. Putting People First.
One District...One Conversation...Every Community Matters
If there's one lesson I've learned throughout my life, it's this:
The best solutions begin by listening.
Whether serving in government, working with organizations to strengthen leadership and communication, teaching college students, running my own business, or volunteering in my community, I've found that people accomplish far more when they listen to one another, respect different perspectives, and work together toward common goals.
That philosophy has guided my career - and it's the approach I'll bring to the California State Senate.
Serving our Nation
I began my professional career with the Department of Defense, supporting the Army and Navy on the East Coast before moving to California to work with the Air Force.
Those experiences instilled in me a deep appreciation for public service, responsibility, teamwork, and mission-focused leadership.
Building Better Organizations
Later, I built a career in Human Resources and Organizational Development, partnering with organizations to improve communication, strengthen leadership, develop employees, and build highly effective teams.
Eventually, I founded my own consulting business, where I had the privilege of working with organizations throughout the high-tech industry and beyond, helping leaders and employees solve complex organizational challenges and create stronger workplace cultures.
Teaching the Next Generation
Teaching has also been one of the greatest joys of my professional life. For more than 30 years, I've served as an adjunct professor at seven Bay Area colleges and universities, teaching leadership, management, communication, human resources, and organizational development.
My students often described me as "tough—but fair." I always smiled when I heard that because I believed my role wasn't simply to teach information; it was to help people discover their potential, think critically, and become better leaders themselves.
Serving the Community
Service has never ended when I left work.
For decades I've been actively involved in community organizations, including the League of Women Voters, Rotary Club, and the Elks Lodge.
Those experiences have reinforced my belief that lasting change happens when neighbors come together, listen to one another, and work toward practical solutions that benefit the entire community.
Why I'm Running
I'm not a career politician.
My perspective comes from a lifetime of public service, private-sector experience, education, small business ownership, and community involvement. Throughout my career I've focused on helping people solve problems, build stronger relationships, and work more effectively together.
California faces significant challenges, and I believe those challenges deserve thoughtful leadership—not louder politics.
As I've traveled throughout Senate District 10, I've met people from every walk of life. While we don't always agree on every issue, we share many of the same hopes: safe neighborhoods, quality schools, affordable housing, a healthy economy, opportunities for our children, and a government that listens and is accountable to the people it serves.
I want to bring integrity, professionalism, practical experience, and common sense to Sacramento while ensuring every community has a voice. That's why I'm running.
My Commitment to You
I'll listen before I speak.
I'll treat every person with respect.
I'll work hard.
I'll tell you the truth, even when the answers aren't easy.
And I'll never forget that public office is about serving people—not politics.
