About Linda Price

California State Senate, District 10

Linda Price is running for the California State Senate to restore common sense, accountability, and opportunity for everyone in District 10.

A firm believer in personal responsibility, fiscal discipline, and strong communities, Linda is stepping forward at a time when Californians are being priced out, underserved by government, and left questioning whether Sacramento is working for them at all.

She’s not a career politician. She’s a problem-solver and respected leader who understands that government’s role is not to control lives—but to serve the people responsibly, transparently, and effectively.

Priorities that Matter and Unite Us

FIGHTING FOR CALIFORNIA AFFORDABILITY

Linda knows that California is becoming unaffordable for working families, seniors, and young people trying to build a future. Rising taxes, burdensome regulations, and out-of-touch policies are driving people out of the state.

She will fight to:

  • Protect and strengthen Proposition 13, ensuring homeowners—especially seniors—are not taxed out of their homes

  • Oppose new taxes and work to reduce the overall tax burden on families and small businesses

  • Cut unnecessary regulations that drive up the cost of housing, energy, and everyday living

  • Promote responsible budgeting so Sacramento spends within its means

  • Linda believes affordability isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. California should be a place where hard work is rewarded, not punished.

SAFE COMMUNITIES, STRONG FAMILIES

Public safety is the foundation of a thriving community. Linda is committed to restoring safety, supporting law enforcement, and ensuring that families—especially children—are protected.

Her priorities include:

  • Backing law enforcement with the resources, staffing and respect they need to keep communities safe

  • Holding repeat offenders accountable ending the cycle of catch-and-release policies that put communities at risk

  • Combating drug abuse and trafficking including the devastating impact of fentanyl on families

  • Protecting children in schools ensuring parents remain informed and involved in major decisions affecting their children

  • Pushing back on inappropriate gender policies that exclude parents and create confusion

  • Requiring clear communication standards for commercial drivers including addressing safety concerns related to non-English-speaking CDL holders

  • Expanding career-focused education pathways, so students can graduate with real skills, whether college or trade school bound

Linda believes safety is not partisan—it’s fundamental. Every Californian deserves to feel secure in their home, their neighborhood, and their child’s school.

DEMANDING GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTABILITY

Californians are paying more than ever—and getting less in return. Linda is committed to bringing transparency, oversight and accountability back to state government.

She will:

  • Audit state spending to uncover fraud, waste, abuse and corruption

  • Hold agencies accountable for how taxpayer dollars are distributed

  • Push for full transparency so Californians can clearly see where their money is going

  • Address California’s budget shortfall with disciplined, responsible financial leadership—not more taxes

  • Reprioritize spending to ensure core services like public safety, infrastructure and education are fully funded first

Linda believes government should answer to the people—not the other way around.
